This article reads like a few paragraphs of a student's term paper on the Holy Roman Empire, and does not work as a self contained article. It is not written in an interesting or encyclopedia-appropriate way, with topics not given suitable introduction for non-historian readers. (talk) 03:10, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

I totally agree with all your points. A bad personal essay with no redeeming features.--Lubiesque (talk) 14:13, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

18th century to 18th-century[edit]

Would there be any objection to moving this article to 18th-century history of Germany? Since 18th and century are working together as a compound adjective before the noun history, it should be hyphenated. 18th century history of Germany would remain as a redirect to the new title. If there's a consensus, or at least no objection, I'll make the move in about a week. Thank you. SchreiberBike talk 02:34, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
