Removal of cited information
[edit]Fulserish, I think your removal of the cited content I added was unwarranted. What is deemed "necessary" and "unnecessary" is completely subjective. I don't see the problem with adding what parties’ candidates formerly belonged to, especially in the cases of those that were not predecessors to the CDP and are ideologically very different to the party. I think this is worthy of note. If you want to include the other parties they were members of then fine but it doesn't mean this information which is clearly stated in The Asahi Shimbun citation should be removed. In terms of quoting the source to describe a candidate, again I see no issue here. It’s important and completely fitting to explain the political views of a candidate in such an article as this.
