Notability tag

[edit]

An unregistered editor added a notability tag. Seems to me that when a former police officer commits mass murder that's notable. The only other case that I can think of in which a former police officer committed mass murder is the case of the Golden State Killer, and even here there is a difference between the two cases. The Golden State Killer's stint as a police officer only lasted 6 years, and only three years in any one department. In this case, the officer served for 28 years in a single department. To me, that seems notable, even if at the moment the article is short. I would think that as more information becomes available the article will grow in size. But even if it doesn't, I think the circumstances make this mass killing case notable. Where is Matt? (talk) 13:10, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
