Best Technical Achievement

Hello Wheezythewave. I want to ask about why did you revert my edit without any appropriate reason?

1: I think 'Technical Award' is correct but not the most appropriate translation for the award category '예술상'. 'Best Technical Achievement' is more appropriate because it explains the category in a better way. It is not just an 'X Award' but an award for 'Best X Achievement'. Just like we can use 'Rookie Actor Award (Male)' for '신인연기상 (남)', but we use 'Best New Actor' because it understood better in the later way in English.

Also there are multiple sources naming the category as 'Best Technical Achievement': Korea JoongAng Daily, Forbes, The Economics Time etc.

2: I changed the order of categories as per official website of the awards.

3: Similar to explanation of 1, I changed 'Arts Direction' to 'Production Design'. Simply because it is a better translation. -ink&fables «talk» 14:23, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Jumping myself in this discussion, I agree with you on your first and second explanation but not the third one, "production design" is an overall term for the designs in film or TV production but "art direction" is a specific term. Also you why edited "VFX" to "Virtual effects"? Baeksang official website clearly put it as VFX and fyi it is abbreviated as visual effects. 98 𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 07:11, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
