remove unexplained tag -- see talk
[edit]Some tages tell the reader to look in the associated talk page for a discussion of the reasons for the placement.
I asked, over at WP:AN/I.-- when the person who placed the tag hasn't provided an explanation how long after giving the tag placer a headsup can one remove the tag. I was told there is no obligation to give a heads-up. If they haven't explained the tag within 24 hours, I was told, feel free to remove it.
And that is what I have done here. Geo Swan 09:01, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Could you please discuss...
[edit]This guy was captured in File:Safe house in Faisalabad where Abu Zubaydah was captured.jpg. I added this image to this article. At some point the image has been removed.
I'd like to ask whoever removed it to return here and explain why they thought the image should be removed.

explain restoration of excised material
[edit]In this edit, with an edit summary of "clarify and unlink interpretation of questionable source", another contributor removed a bunch of valid and useful wikilinks. Without a clear explanation of why the excising contributor considers the source "questionable" I think it appropriate to restore the excised wikilinks. Geo Swan (talk) 18:01, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

"Abdul Zahir was transferred to Guantanamo on October 28, 2002, and remains there today"
[edit]Why does the article, as of March 11, 2017, say "Abdul Zahir was transferred to Guantanamo on October 28, 2002, and remains there today" when elsewhere in the article it says that he has been transferred to Oman? This kind of sloppy/careless mistake undermines the credibility of this encyclopedia. 173.88.241.33 (talk) 20:36, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
