Adande Thorne Age

It is known that Adande Thorne's birthday is July 10, but there seems to be some confusion (or misinformation) regarding what year he was born. Users on Wikipedia and the rest of the Internet have attributed his birth year to being 1988. However, that cannot be the case because he is described as a 26-year old in a June 2007 Los Angeles Times article. Therefore, it is correct to assume that Adande Thorne's birth year is 1980. Furthermore, in his vlogs, E has mentioned working at places such as Walt Disney World and Hard Rock Hotel before pursuing his professional gaming career and subsequent YouTube career. Most of these events take place years after he has graduated from high school. However, if we assume Adande was born in 1988, the earliest he could've graduated from high school would be 2006. This cannot be the case because E created his YouTube account on February 8, 2006. Once again, following this logic, it is correct to assume that Adande Thorne's birth year is 1980.

If need be, I can provide more factual evidence that Adande Thorne was born in 1980 and not 1988 so that his birth year can be permanently corrected on this article.

Proof That Adande Thorne was Born in 1980

Adande Thorne's old vlogs are filled with irrefutable evidence that he was indeed born in 1980. Countless references to his childhood, early adulthood, and instances where he explicitly mentions his age prove this to be true. By providing this evidence, I hope Adande's age can stay corrected once and for all.

One explicit example of Adande referencing his age comes in his VLoG #72 from September of 2007 titled "America's Next Top XBOX Model", now either set to private on his YouTube page or deleted from the website. In the vlog, Adande describes himself as a 27-year-old, an age that many Internet users attribute to him today. Another prime example is Adande's VLoG #44, titled "Bad Boys, Bad Boys", where he recounts a story of him and his friend getting pulled over while driving in June of 1999. This single video proves that Adande was not born in 1988, as he would've been 10 years old in this story.

Another example that disproves the assertion that Adande was born in 1988 is his VLoG #73 from October of 2007 titled "sWooZie Unscripted", now either set to private on his YouTube page or deleted from the website. In the vlog, marking the one-year anniversary of his vlog series, Adande mentions a story he told in his VLoG #15, "My First Kiss." As he did in VLoG #15, he refers to himself as a "late bloomer" when it came to getting his first kiss. However, he also reveals that he was 20 at the time of his first kiss. Once again, this single video proves that Adande was not born in 1988, as he would've only been 19 while filming this vlog.

In addition, at the beginning of his video titled "Revenge of the Disney Employee," Adande recounts the time he and two of his friends were on the set of "The All-New Mickey Mouse Club", a show that filmed from 1989 to 1994. He also mentions seeing a young Justin Timberlake there, which means that he was on the set in either 1993 or 1994. Because the rest of the video involves Adande describing his final days at Walt Disney World as a 17-year-old, it is safe to assume that he was in the 12-14 years old age range when he and his two friends were on the set of "The All-New Mickey Mouse Club" as opposed to being in the 4-7 years old age range (if you incorrectly assume Adande was born in 1987 or 1988).

I'd like to add that Adande's facebook page says he moved to the United States in 1990, and in his draw my life he mentions his first crush in diego martin when he was 4, his house being robbed and being excited about cable tv when he first moved. There's no way he could have been 2 years old when he moved. Also, the los angeles times article that is mentioned above pretty much proves it. He was 26 turning 27 in 2007.

His sister, who is 2 years younger than him, posted a picture on Instagram of herself in her senior year of highschool. The pics heading says, "Boy u couldn't tell us nothing back in the day!! Senior year Dance Corp. back in 2000". Despite all the evidence provided above, this final fact puts to rest the uncertainty of Adande being born in 1980. In his Draw My Life video, Adande says that he has a sister named Njideka (aka Deka) who is two years younger than him. Public records show that Njideka Thorne was born on September 7, 1982. Hello Solarian98 - You have put forward some very strong evidence. I too have seen most of Swoozie's old videos in the past that have now been deleted/privatised - which does cast suspicion on his age. It is also near impossible to now access these old videos, (which is frustrating as they were actually kind of entertaining!) However,he posted a picture on his personally run Myspace page, (you can find the link to this on my wikipedia profile), stating his DOB is July 10 1987. As we know he was born in 1980 - could you tell me why Adande would flat out lie about his date of birth and age? Why would he go through such lengths to hide this? As we know the truth but Adande clearly wants to hide this fact, should we keep it as the DOB he wishes? (July 10th 1987). Maybe because he wants to stay relatable to a younger audience? But Swoozie's audience was very small when he had Myspace and uploaded that picture - so why would he lie at that time? Thanks for taking the time to reply! Side Note - I do apologize for originally changing the date to 1987, it is very clear he was indeed born in 1980. However, I am unsure as to whether we should keep the DOB as he wishes as everyone here has clearly been watching Swoozie for a long time/appreciates his content. He has clearly gone through some lengths to hide his age, ( deleting/privisiting these videos for no particular reason other than age references. It is clear that all assumptions of Andande's age have been on the ambiguity provided by Swoozie himself in his part truth part lies Youtube page.
