[edit]The show ran for 10 seasons until 1998, not for 4 until 1988, cf. [1] I haven't got time to change it right now, but somebody else might have? --Thf1977 06:34, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
“And” or “&”?
[edit]Is it “Alas Smith and Jones” or “Alas Smith & Jones”? The video covers here and on IMDB say “&” and the IMDB entry says “&”. If it is “&”, the Wikipedia article title should be changed. Felicity4711 (talk) 04:42, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Was said to be initially confused with Alias Smith and Jones in TV listings by some viewers
[edit]Re this bit - "The show's title was a pun on the American television series Alias Smith and Jones, which was very popular in Britain."
I remember a Fleet Street TV critic after the first episode saying that it had been confused with Alias Smith and Jones in TV listings by some viewers (so who thought it was a re-run of that old Western series) and so didn't watch it. There might be an online source somewhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.16.72.221 (talk) 10:40, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
