Notability concerns gone, but tread lightly

[edit]

Most of this author's works are records he obtained from various churches and the military. Beware of adding other works without indicating what they are. Was a strong candidate for deletion until I found that he was awarded an honorary degree and cited it. Still needs some work. --DiamondRemley39 (talk) 19:41, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

    • Hi, thanks for improving the article. I saw your question at the Teahouse and the answer you received, but you would have received a different response from some other very experienced editors such as DGG who advocates the use of Worlcat as a quick notability test, although here the water is muddied by the works not being his own as you found out which I didn't notice, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 20:19, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know, Atlantic306. Can you point me in the direction of any such discussions where WorldCat was used that way? That would help me out in future discussions. DiamondRemley39 (talk) 15:25, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
