New Guinea[edit]

I somehow always associate Alfred Hill with New Guinea, since a set of his piano pieces which I found and bought many years ago was based on, and dedicated to, its people, after a visit he made there. So I was somewhat surprised to see no mention of New Guinea in the article; but perhaps it was only a minor interlude in his life?

Re-structuring of the article[edit]

I somewhat re-ordered the article, which read as a collection of factoids until now. A bit more on Hill's work as a composer would be good, though, as well as extending the list of works. --Ilja.nieuwland (talk) 10:00, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Birth[edit]

The year of birth is stated as 2021 in the first paragraph. Please correct.

'Hill returned to New Zealand...'[edit]

Don't understand. Had he been to NZ before?

Is it simply that he returned from Europe, but took up residence in New Zealand instead of Australia? --Bluedawe 04:41, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
