Pedagogy
[edit]I am somewhat confused. I read the Dick and Jane entry, & figured it was a look & say-method set of readers, & thus expected Alice and Jerry to be, in contrast, involved with phonetics. - Alice & Jerry was a direct competitor to Dick & Jane. Both were designed to be taught using "Look & Say" method, as that was the educational trend of that time. Neither series is Phonics-based. I have updated the A&J web page to note this. 108.18.150.7 (talk) 14:30, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
