Who is Dickinson?

[edit]

This article makes two references to a person named "Dickinson" without explaining who Dickinson was. Mild Bill Hiccup (talk) 13:51, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A simple mispelling - the name should be "Dickens". I've corrected it. Retarius | Talk 06:56, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Police motivation?

[edit]

From my experience police do not go about putting innocent people in Jail for no reason, in most cases its because they genuinely believe the person to be guilty and would rather bend the rules than have them walking the streets free. This is complicated by the famous 'policeman hunch' which despite being surprisingly accurate is on occasion utterly wrong.

From what I have gathered, there must have been some fairly significant circumstantial suggestion that Mallard had done it for the police to go to these lengths to put him away. In short there has to be more to it, I wonder if it will ever filter through the media or is being habitually "wall of silenced".

I am looking forward to some kind of police motivation being eventually realised, cases like this always revolve around it.
