Wants to be President

[edit]

The statemant that Mwenda wants to be president needs to be referenced, especially since The Monitor is citing this article[1] when further spreading this unsourced statement.--Ezeu 01:58, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect citation

[edit]

Citation number 4 states that Bono drew headlines "with his foul-mouthed heckling of his speech".

The actual speech was given here [2]. Watching it through, it is patently clear that there was no such heckling. Mr. Mwenda asked the audience for counter-examples for a claim he felt was unchallengeable, and Bono spoke up and was otherwise silent the whole talk.

The citation (and also the article it came from, naturally) are both so incontrovertibly incorrect given a link to the actual talk, I feel like the citation should be deleted. Given that the guidelines above state "Controversial material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libellous" I've taken it upon myself to do so. However, feel free to revert the article back to the way it was if I misunderstand.

I removed these ELs from the article itself per WP:LINKFARM. But they're here if anyone wants to use them as a resource for expansion.
