Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (Ankita Makwana is known personality in Switzerland. I watched her TED talk and had read about her in the Swiss papers before. But what really struck me was the talk and that's when I started to gather information about her. Maybe one should have a German Wikipage under her name... Open to suggestions. But would be sad if we couldn't feature her in Wikipedia. As I am convinced she belongs here..) --Tanja0081 (talk) 12:32, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
- Hello @Tanja0081: The article is nominated for speedy deletion because at first instance it doesn't show how this person is notable (WP:CSD#A7). However, I believe she is partially notable or if not yet, notability could be established sometime soon with dates closing to the film release. I'll request you to find some secondary, independent and reliable sources and cite them in the body of the article in order to save this article from speedy deletion (See, WP:BLP). Optionally, You can move this article to your userspace to work on there, and later move it back to article mainspace following availability of multiple sources discussing the subject in detail. Well, I can help with this. If you need any assistance, leave me a message on my talk page. Regards, Anupmehra -Let's talk! 13:21, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

(Ankita Makwana has been featured in all the relevant newspapers in the German part of Switzerland and she is a known personality. Also featured in WhoisWho Zurich 2014 and has more than 1000 followers on Twitter. She is an actress, model, writer and producer. She has also done ad films for Ikea. - Hello Jonas M.(85.5.2.170)- Wikipedia is not a newspaper. However, a little can be added using the source. And, we can have picture of hers, if somewhere found under Creative Commons licence or if she donates an image to Commons. If you are related to the subject of the article, ask her to release an image of her under creative commons licence (see, Commons:Upload wizard). Anupmehra -Let's talk! 16:34, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
