As this man has passed away now (2005), would it be accurate to remove the BLP distinction from the article? 69.219.197.238 21:33, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why is "The Clash of Fundamentalisms: Crusades, Jihads and Modernity" by Tariq Ali a reliable source? Just wondering.Bless sins (talk) 22:08, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Critics of Sunni Islam?

[edit]

An edit by 203.220.72.109 added [[Category:Critics of Sunni Islam]]. The text says Shaikh was raised Sunni and became a notorious critic of Islam. In my judgment, this does not automatically make him a critic of Sunni Islam.

I wish to thank 203.220.72.109 for the edit and apologize for reverting it, but I feel that the text needs to be modified to discuss how Sheikh criticized Sunni Islam distinct from other branch(es) of Islam before the Category:Critics of Sunni Islam would apply.

If Sheikh was in fact a critic of Sunni Islam, I hope someone knowledgeable will make appropriate edits to this effect. DavidMCEddy (talk) 05:26, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
