The result of the move request was: moved. Participants agreed that most figures on the DAB page are generally known as "Archibald", and that the minister is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the title. The disambiguator "(minister)" was chosen for the minister, as it was shown by one commenter to be more WP:CONSISTENT with other articles on Presbyterian ministers. – Among the five men listed upon the Archie Gray disambiguation page, two are referenced as "Archibald", not "Archie", while Archie Gray (footballer, born 1887) is likewise listed as "Archibald Gray" at Scottish Football Association. As for Archibald Gray, the six-sentence stub for the Presbyterian minister from 200 years ago is not positioned as a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. — Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 21:52, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nom, no PRIMARY.--Ortizesp (talk) 01:12, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support and Move Archie Gray (footballer, born 2006) to Archie Gray. Archie Gray (footballer, born 2006) is the overwhelming WP:primary topic for Archie Gray (do we even know that his name is Archibald?; the article doesn't say so). The other 3 articles have negligible pageviews and are always or sometimes referred to as Archibald. So it makes sense to put the dab page at Archibald Gray to free up Archie Gray for the primary topic and only person solely known as Archie. Station1 (talk) 02:51, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support. Although Archibald Gray (minister) would be standard disambiguation for a Presbyterian. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:51, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
