I have edited the page about Arnold A. Offner without realizing that as his wife I should not be undertaking this.

Here is one sentence I added that needs a citation:

He is a Past President of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations.[citation needed]

Citation: https://shafr.org/content/arnold-offner

He has won numerous awards for his scholarship and teaching.

  Edit request partially implemented

  1. Green tickY The requested citation regarding the subject's past presidency was added to the relevant claim statement in the lead section.
  2. Red XN Two of the requested awards were not added. Please provide WP:SECONDARY sources for these claims.
  3. Red XN In the case of the third award, the Phi Alpha Award reference (which is secondary), no such accompanying text for this claim was proposed, and no such text already exists in the article for which the claim could have been appended to. If a claim statement is desired to be added to the article regarding this award, the proposed text of what this claim statement would say needs to be added to the talk page verbatim, along with the source citation's page number which verifies the claim statement.
