Incorrect (?) etymology
[edit]The original author (Engel, 2011, p. 140) mentions: "Greek words etheira (meaning, “hairy”). In ancient Greek ἔθειρα (etheira) is a noun, meaning "hair" and not an adjective. So this etymology seems to be incorrect. Wimpus (talk) 19:52, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
- The author states what their intent is, that is the key aspect, yes they are not fully using the right wording, BUT the authors intent with the etymology is explicitly stated, and not incorrect.--Kevmin § 20:31, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
