Proposed merge
[edit]Asynchronous method dispatch is too short to stand on its own; it should be merged here. bd2412 T 13:29, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if we should actually keep that page. "Asynchronous method dispatch" doesn't occur as a phrase in GBooks. It seems to originate in a paper by M. Henning and has been picked up in a few other computer science works, but is mostly treated as a compositional phrase (method dispatch that is asynchronous). - Asynchronous method invocation is also very close in scope to both articles... QVVERTYVS (hm?) 14:07, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- Asynchronous method invocation seems to be fairly substantial on its own. If Asynchronous method dispatch is confined to a small number of computer science papers, that is all the more reason to merge it here and basically squish it into a footnote. bd2412 T 14:21, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
