The team has suspended operations

[edit]

According to a USL league official, the Atlanta Ruckus is a completely different franchise than the Atlanta Silverbacks. Could someone adjust that accordingly and create a separate Atlanta Ruckus article? (Olujosh (talk) 18:25, 9 September 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Distinction between this club and the NPSL club

[edit]

We had two separate articles on the NPSL club, this one and the former Silverbacks reserves. Since local media clearly establish that the NASL club ceased operations and the current NPSL club was the renamed reserve side,[1] I have clarified in the two articles. The former reserve side has rebranded away from "Silverbacks", having lost the license to the name, and are now Atlanta SC. SixFourThree (talk) 04:45, 5 January 2019 (UTC)SixFourThree[reply]

Archive of logo and kits

[edit]

Since the club has gone defunct, this page is now an archive of their entire history and not just a reflection of the current moment in time. We shouldn't prioritize the most recent logo and uniforms just because they happened to be in use when the music stopped. This article has more worth as an encyclopedia if we reflect their most common look and not just their last one. Accordingly, I have restored their 2002-2012 logo, and the red and black hoops they appear to have worn most throughout their history.
