List of office-holders[edit]

Have added in the E&W AGs, as from 1972 until the present they have also held the office of AG of NI. Mooretwin (talk) 01:18, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Future AGs[edit]

Article should not presuppose that 'he' will not be a 'she'! RashersTierney (talk) 12:12, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The future AG is a "he". Mooretwin (talk) 12:33, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The article would be improved by being neutral on gender, and by not predicting future appointments to the office. RashersTierney (talk) 12:57, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you bothered to read the article, you'll see that it refers to the next AG, and his name is John (a male name), thus indicating that he is male. Mooretwin (talk) 14:08, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The future appointment has been announced. HE will be appointed when the European Election is over and the DUP/Sinn Fein alliance can safly do the deal and the Alliance Party can sell their souls without an election in sight.Traditional unionist (talk) 13:48, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I understood the article was about the office generally and not just the next appointment to it. The gender of any particular incumbent is surely incidental to the article. RashersTierney (talk) 14:14, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
