Fair use rationale for Image:ENSeal.JPG

[edit]

Image:ENSeal.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Summer

[edit]

I added this since this article has very very few references and citations, and this link is a very good feature on this.*Summer at El Nido --Florentino floro (talk) 11:58, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Caution note

[edit]

Hi! I think this does not belong into an article that way although i do not understand the message of the warning completely. Any opinions? abf /talk to me/ 23:01, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Which sitios were constituted to what barangays are important details

[edit]

The amount of detail should be proportional to the article. Which sitios were constituted to what barangays are important details for an article on a town/city. --Ed558 (talk) 00:41, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Placing all sitios in the main article are irrelevant

[edit]

There are too many sitios that comprise a barangay or barrio, and it is lengthy to include the name of each one. Since this is an online encyclopedia, I do not think the parent article should comprise a mere listing of sitios; please include only those that are truly relevant or else the readers would find it tiring to read the entire article.

If you want to include the list of sitios, please write a different article that talks about the historical development of sitios and barrios in El Nido since the time it became a municipality, and delete the listing of sitios from the parent article. Richard Relucio (talk) 17:15, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

We will not be including all the sitios, only those which were merged to form a barrio (later barangay). It was only during Marcos' time when a sitio (or purok) was necessarily part of a barangay (formerly barrios); prior to that certain sitios were truly independent from barrios. I think it's useful to our readers to know which sitios were consolidated to form a barangay. Nevertheless, feel free to revert my edit - we can always find a third editor to decide the issue for us later on. --Ed558 (talk) 00:36, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
