Question about Anna Nicole's daughter[edit]

Does Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn, count as a Bahamian American or just a Bahamian native? thepriceiswrong! February 28 2007 6:55 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Sidney-poitier01.jpg[edit]

Image:Sidney-poitier01.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Definition of Bahamian American[edit]

I removed the statement "Although many native-born Bahamians live and work in the United States, they are not considered Bahamian Americans, as that title is reserved for people born in the United States to at least one Bahamian parent, or parent of Bahamian descent." This is original research and is illogical. A person born and raised in the Bahamas, who moves to the United States and naturalizes as a United States citizen, is a Bahamian American by every definition of the word. The article stated that Bahamian Americans only apply to children born in the U.S. to a Bahamian citizen. Absolutely ridiculous. If a Bahamian becomes an American citizen, they are a Bahamian American. 97.102.151.47 (talk) 12:11, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

I reformatted the infobox. Besides arranging the pictures into a 3x3 square, I formatted them so people are looking either into the infobox or straight out from it. No one is looking out to the side. Lenny Kravitz is looking down and across at his mother Roxie Roker, Sidney Poitier is looking across at his daughter Sydney who is looking back at him. And I guess Kimbo Slice is about to rip up Florida--Work permit (talk) 07:38, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DuBois[edit]

A user deleted Dubois, and in doing so broke the page. Is there consensus to remove him? For the moment, I replaced him with rick fox--Work permit (talk) 20:42, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
