Baladi
[edit]Baladi means literally "of the country". The meaning "folk" is derived from that.
Why is "Baladi" used here exclusively for dancing, and not to explain the word itself (for example people use the word to describe things, like a Baladi chicken, or Baladi zucchini, to say it's the local cultivator). Therefore, this should be renamed to Baladi dance. ¬Hexafluoride (talk) 07:48, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
Error in last example rhythm under 'Baladi rhythm'?
[edit]Isn't there a "--" or "tk" missing between T and D below? D D tkT D tkT D i.e. either D D tkT D tkT tkD D tkT D tkT tk or D D tkT D tkT --D D tkT D tkT tk — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beryllium-9 (talk • contribs) 10:24, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
