Why isn't the current engine listed. The BV206 today has a Steyr M16 Engine, same as the HMMWV amongst others.

Not sure what the wiki policy is on videos, but here are two I took while working with this machine this summer:

I give permission to use them on this page if Wiki allows it

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \barmy-technology\.com\b on the local blacklist
  • http://www.army-technology.com/projects/bv2065/index.html#bv20655/
Triggered by \barmy-technology\.com\b on the local blacklist

If you would like me to provide more information on the talk page, contact User:Cyberpower678 and ask him to program me with more info.

Resolved This issue has been resolved, and I have therefore removed the tag, if not already done. No further action is necessary.—cyberbot II NotifyOnline 20:23, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Canadair

[edit]

CL-61/CL-70 "RAT" (Remote Articulated Track), 1959 / CL-91 Dynatrac / XM-571 should probably be mentioned somehow. See Canadair, https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=XM-571, etc. --BjKa (talk) 10:30, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Error in text? Help needed.

[edit]

This seems wrong: "It is in service with the armed forces of France, Germany (379 Bv 206D/S ordered), Spain, Netherlands, Italy (158 units), Sweden (50 units), Greece (Bv 208) and Singapore (300 units), which has replaced it with the Bronco All Terrain Tracked Carrier."

If it has been replaced it isn't in service. I believe it has been transferred to the civil service so I don't know if Singapores use should be changed or removed? Someone who knows Wikipedia and English better than me might want to fix this. Dustie (talk) 18:54, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

BvS 10 should be removed.

[edit]

The BvS 10 is to my knowledge a completly seperate vehicle and should be removed from this article since it has it's own. IEatAsbestos (talk) 14:45, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
