Gross factual error

[edit]

Oregon State University is NOT located in Beaverton. So where was this part of his career? The University of Oregon? It is near (but not actually in) Beaverton; think that the writer was confused by the beaver mascot into thinking that OSU is there. So the question is, was Bart a Duck? A Mountain Lions program containing his bio might answer this, if someone gets one this fall. 75.201.57.50 (talk) 03:16, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the hint. Yeah, the Beaver mascot must have confused me... Armchair QB (talk) 16:03, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"NFLEL"?

[edit]

I have never seen this designation anywhere but here. The usual designation for NFL-Europe/Europa was NFL-E. Bordering on orignal research, at best. 75.201.57.50 (talk) 03:22, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The league's official title was "NFL Europe League" from 1998 to 2006. The league itself used the abbreviation NFLEL on publications and press releases, even in 2007 when it was renamed NFL Europa. It was also used by the media, so your remark regarding original research is kinda odd. Armchair QB (talk) 16:21, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good save, but then shouldn't the fact that he was the last coach at the time of the league's dissoloution reflect that by then it was called "NFL Europa"? 75.201.254.5 (talk) 14:18, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
