WRONG! The battle of Bornholm 1676 is NOT right! The war is Scanian War. The naval battle is of the 25/26 may 1676. The Battle of Öland. Take a look on the articles!

Take a look on the norwegian article of the battle of Bornholm 1676...

The battle of Öland is not the battle of Bornholm 1676. The norwegian article is of the naval battle of 25/26 may 1676. The battle of Öland is of the 1 juni 1676. Please know that, the english article is not correct.

Can you please tell me what specific problems we have and how we should fix them? --Ineffable3000 00:09, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I fixed a few things. Is it better now? --Ineffable3000 00:17, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Commanders

[edit]

Can someone tell me which commanders were in this battle? Apparently, we have an edit conflict here. --Ineffable3000 22:30, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sweden:
Lorentz Creutz – Admiral of the Fleet, sailed in the first squadron (centre)
Klas Uggla – Led the second squadron (van)
Johan Bär – Led the third squadron (rear)
Cornelis Tromp brought up Dutch reinforcements three days after the battle and chased the Swedes.

Corrections

[edit]

The article has confused assumed the events before the battle of Öland and a lot of other figures. I'm working on an update of the Swedish article along with other articles about the Scanian Wars. I'll translate the improvements later, but for now I'm settling for correcting the most obvious errors.
