Since I was doing some research on a particular aspect of the Kingdom of Wu, I had read biographies of Wu military generals ONE BY ONE, and I discovered only 10 of them had participated in this naval battle (Zhou Yu, Cheng Pu, Lu Fan, Han Dang, Lu Meng, Huang Gai, Ling Tong, Lu Su, Gan Ning, and Zhou Tai). But I have no clue about the participants of Cao Cao's side, because the Wei Book didn't put the battles Wei generals lost into personal biographies... A complete overhaul of the article is necessary. I created the page in 2009 by translating information from this link, which is currently broken. Now, when I inspect the Sanguozhi biographies of the involved personnel, I realise that some of them may not have actually participated in the battle because nothing was mentioned about the battle in their biographies.
