Fair use rationale for Image:NS logo.jpg
[edit]Image:NS logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Terminus for Circle Line Extension
[edit]Hi. I'm just curious, is there any way to edit the database such that the terminus for Circle Line Extension will show "Terminus" instead of "towards HarbourFront"? As far as extensions are concerned, I'm quite sure that the termini should be where the branch line meets the main line. I could be wrong though, can someone clarify? Steel Bow (talk) 11:23, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- Generally, trains will not terminate at Promenade but instead journey to HarbourFront, so to label it as a termini is factually incorrect in a sense. Seloloving (talk) 17:40, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

... that Bayfront MRT station's public art consists of ships drawn by children?Source: [1]- Reviewed:
Improved to Good Article status by ZKang123 (talk). Nominated by Brachy0008 (talk) at 11:03, 21 February 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Bayfront MRT station; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- @Brachy0008:. Regarding the hook, you have a link to a primary source which only mentions "local artists". It seems they feature more art than the art of children so the hook does not work. In the article the line "The work depicts a series of ships hand-drawn by Singaporean children aged 7 to 12." has an inline citation which does not support the sentence. I will review in hopes you can present hook alternatives. Maybe a hook from this interesting line about children's art: "Based on fantasy or other existing ships, the designs included boats powered by whales and dragons, or those made of food and recycled bottles" I cannot access the inline citation which follows that sentence so you might want to share a blurb of the text when citing the hook. Another sentence in this article is not supported by the reference which follows, "When the Ships Comes In by Lee Wen is displayed along the station concourse as part of the Art-in-Transit programme, a showcase of public artworks on the MRT network". Article was recently promoted to GA and it is long enough so it is eligible. I have already mentioned the hook. The QPQ is not needed. The article is neutral and the copyvio detector does not alert to violations. The article has the correct inline citations but they need to be checked because two that I spot checked are completely incorrect. In my opinion this should not be a GA article in the state that it is in, also you were the reviewer not the one who improved it so the one who improved it should be listed above. I have similar concerns about another article which you have approved for GA titled: Gardens by the Bay MRT station. I started to nominate it and then saw that it was not up to GA standards. You have 611 total edits so perhaps slow down with approving GAs? Bruxton (talk) 17:35, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
Can you let me know about the two sources that are completely incorrect. Also, thanks for the advice. It’s for the better for me to focus on improving articles. Brachy08 (Never Gonna Give You Up, Never Gonna Let You Down) 23:27, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
Bruxton here are the pages from the book source for your reference: [2] [3] [4] ZKang123 (talk) 10:40, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Brachy0008: Thanks for your quick reply. Start with the hook, look at the provided reference. It is the same one as in the article and it does not support the information in the hook. I have removed the reference for the sentence in the article: "The work depicts a series of ships hand-drawn by Singaporean children aged 7 to 12". The inline citation was incorrect but the Zhang reference is correct and is now in place with the correct page number 175. I also rewrote another sentence in the section for accuracy. It now reads: "The When the Ships Comes In display pays tribute to the importance of Singapore as a port of call. The children's artwork recalls the history and projects the children's hope for the future". I will propose a new hook here:
