No sources.[edit]

There are no sources for the following- He was invited to an NBA camp but was injured and cut. Ben "rebounded" from his basketball injury to become the best selling musician known as the pioneer and Godfather of Gospel/Jazz music (multiple Gold and Platinum Records). He is also a guest motivational speaker for the NBA's D-League, Suit designer (Big & Tall), Record Label President, Aircraft Pilot/Owner, and Reality TV co-star with his own new show on Bravo - Thicker Than Water:The Tankards, which premiered November 10, 2013 and has made history as one of the network's highest rated new series with over two million weekly viewers. Statements like -best selling musician known as the pioneer and Godfather of gospel/ Jazz music, have no source and sound like they were written by a PR firm. And so what if he is an aircraft Pilot/ owner? There is no proof of that, nor is it notable. My husband has a pilots lisence, they are common. I'm going to remove the unsourced fluff. If anyone kind find a ref, add the statements, without the fluff, back in the article. 98.240.76.78 (talk) 22:59, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced stuff again.[edit]

Here is more unsourced statements I'm removing-Now, based in Murfreesboro, TN (near Nashville), Tankard is an avid aviator and instrument rated pilot. He flies to most of his concerts on his own fleet of airplanes. His favorite aircraft is the Pilatus PC-12. Ben flies the following planes: Cessna Businessliner- 401A / N401BT and Cessna Skyrocket 337C / N2469S. He also has FAA registration N number reserved for the Pilatus PC12: N192PC. First, where is the proof that he is a instrument rated pilot? Why is it notable what his favorite plane is, much less, where is the proof he owns the planes? His fleet, makes it sound like he owns a fleet of airplanes. I find this odd, as owning a fleet if planes is very expensive. Most planes are owned by a company and the pilot will rent/ lease the plane, but not own it. I actually went to flight aware dot com, and got info about the N number of the Pilatus, N192PC. The N number is correct for the Pilatus, but it is listed as an unknown owner, and last flew Saturday,May,21,2005. It landed 8 years ago. Birthday[edit]

On the article, Ben Tankard's birthday is shown as January 10th in one place and January 24th in the other. Both dates are unsourced, and this can confuse readers. Is there any reliable source that mentions his birthday? I am the third reader to bring up the issue about unsourced materials. NHRHS2010 RIP M.H. (1994-2014) 00:19, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
