DNA analysis

[edit]

The claim has been inserted deailing with the Richard III DNA study. However, it is information that had no noteworthy relevance to Benjamin. Richard lived 300 years earlier, and there is no reason to believe the remote relationship of Benjamin's wife to that king's maternal grandfather played any role in Benjamin Truman's selection of a wife or in their role in society. Likewise, that a descendant of this particular line of descent happened to volunteer to have their DNA tested 200 years after Truman lived, tells us nothing of Benjamin's life or helps the reader understand Truman better. It is nothing but 21st century happenstance, no more worthy of mentioning than anything else an otherwise non-notable descendant of Benjamin might have done to get their names reported. THe information is an injudicious use of an WP:PRIMARY source, and inconsistent with WP:NOTGENEALOGY. Agricolae (talk) 13:36, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
