Why wasn't he prosecuted after the war? Is it because his rank was low enough? M.efimov (talk) 20:18, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kruger was not prosecuted after the war because the British considered Counterfeiting part of the "war game." This is according to a rare book (1000 copies) by Anthony Pire on Operation Bernhard. How is the date of his death known?
