Lifelong Friends[edit]

It was revealed that two people were lifelong friends before they entered the house but I don't see where the article mentions it. Come to think of it CBS doesn't mentioned it anymore either. What happened? 98.122.4.11 (talk) 01:46, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think this was just the Saboteur messing with the houseguests. --96.247.62.162 (talk) 04:19, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It was revealed at the finally that Annie made up the part about the life long friends to case suspicion on the houseguest and save herself.Peacekeeper 1234 20:38, 10 February 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peacekeeper 1234 (talkcontribs)

Diamond Power of Veto in Table[edit]

Since he is up, it is extremely likely Matt will use the Diamond Power of Veto on Thursday to save himself. Thinking this should be reflected in the voting table like the Coup d'Etat was last year, I've worked out the table to incorporate it and posted it at my user page. I based it on the assumption that Matt will veto himself, leaving Lane up, and that Brendon and Regan, as HOH and POV holder, are not eligible to be nominated. Revision and critique are welcome.
Jedzz (talk) 21:21, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Change "Diamond Power of Veto" to "Diamond Veto", and it'll be good. T (talk) 00:41, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I made another test table for when Matt uses the Diamond Veto. In the Veto Winner column I just shortened "Diamond Veto" to "Diamond" because having "Veto" would be redundant. Also I added Matt's nomination in "( )" then his eviction vote under it to clarify that the DPoV replacement was his nomination and not that of the HoH. I also added a color but we might not need the separate color. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 20:16, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe the color should be in the veto winner box, instead of the voting box. And I'm not sure that Matt's nomination should go in the voting box; I'm thinking that a note should be fine. Also, from what I've seen, no one knows at all who Matt will nominate, so predicting a Kathy eviction may be premature. I've updated the chart I made to incorporte your ideas.149.20.80.200 (talk) 22:54, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This should more closely follow the voting table on the season 11 page with regard to Jeff's use of the Coup d'Etat. 98.122.4.11 (talk) 01:46, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, it shouldn't. They are different things. It is removing one person. It is not replacing both; the nominations were not void, only one was. Right now, the table looks like crap with the guest and the veto changes. It is beyond complicated. –Turian (talk) 17:29, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And I know, because I am the one who formatted the coup table. –Turian (talk) 17:32, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the logic of having Matt's diamond veto coloured in Veto winners row, but I dont think it should be coloured in the voting table. Normal vetoes dont have a colour reference in the table, so I dont think this one should either. :) (Kyleofark (talk) 20:20, 20 August 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Big Brother 11 is now a Good Article![edit]

Posted to Big Brother 12 (U.S.), Ultimate Big Brother and WP:BIGBRO.

Big Brother 11 (U.S.) is now a Good Article, this is the second Big Brother article to become a Good Article since the major revamp in the project's manual of style last year. Big Brother 2009 (UK) was the first to implement such changes and became a Good Article on May 9, 2010 after some work. This is an amazing accomplishment for editors of the articles and of the WP:BIGBRO project as a whole. All editors involved should be very proud of this. If we work now to make Big Brother 12 (U.S.) similar to Big Brother 11 (U.S.) (and make Ultimate Big Brother/Big Brother 2010 similar to Big Brother 2009) we could have more GA Big Brother articles here before the year is over. Also as far as Big Brother USA articles go Big Brother 11 (U.S.) is the first USA article to achieve this honor. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 00:42, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

eviction votes[edit]

the nomination table says matt received a total of 4 eviction votes. but he received 6 (2 against monet, 4 against enzo) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.10.73.52 (talk) 01:31, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Week 8, Pandora's Box[edit]

Just one little mistake, Lane won 91.17$, not 91.71$. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.178.235.145 (talk) 22:19, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Week 9[edit]

It is my understanding 9/8/10 the day of the next eviction is day 68 in the house, and that the next day 9/9/10 is the 69 day in the house, not the 69th and 70th like it says in the chart, can someone please confirm or deny this? -Americanedol (talk) 02:08, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I edited the page, if my information is incorrect feel free to undo it -Americanedol (talk) 02:11, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There's a note for Week 9 about the final eviction taking place on Day 69, but do we even have confirmation on that yet? With a two hour finale there's a possibility that the final three could still be in the house on finale night just like last year. I say stick to what we know, and that's that someone's getting evicted on Wednesday and on the same night Part 1 of the final HoH starts. Though I shouldn't go back on what I just said about not speculating, it would seem that they wouldn't have time to do Parts 2 and 3 before/during Thursday's live show. - Spyke1077 (talk) 03:57, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hayden winning POV?[edit]

Where did you find that out? And aren't HOH ppl not allowed to participate? (RealityShowsRock (talk) 11:35, 5 September 2010 (UTC))[reply]

PS Leave a message on my talk page or here.

Hayden won pov. it was on the live feeds, they discuss it on after dark. HoH always plays in Pov and can always win. (eagle2ch (talk) 10:06, 7 September 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Wrong![edit]

Britney hasn't been evicted yet! 76.127.217.214 (talk) 23:36, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I hope not. I came here to check to see when the season ended and I saw that. Oh I was annoyed. I know there's always a chance for spoilers on Wikipedia but I've never had a reality show spoiled for me. Jordan10la (talk) 00:07, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

She was evicted on September 7th User:76.127.217.214. The Wednesday episode (the 8th) was not live. It was taped the day before on Tuesday. --||BignBad|| 00:54, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Merge[edit]

I was thinking it would be better to merge List of Big Brother 12 HouseGuests (U.S.) with this article. Thoughts? Intoronto1125TalkContributions 05:08, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Hoffman "dying wife" controversy[edit]

How come there is no mention of Matt claiming his wife was dying? This caused huge controversy on the outside world. When did he tell his houseguests the story? (Fran Bosh (talk) 21:56, 25 February 2023 (UTC))[reply]
