Opening event
Where to cover proceedings of opening event? Please create a perfect placeholder for this and Closing event. I have been trying to add stuff but the user Imtitanium just deletes them without assigning or allocating them to right place. How can just one person control the things when I am writing nothing illegitimate. Here's what was written and the deleted by Imtitanium three times http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bigg_Boss_6&diff=516600212&oldid=516596733 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.169.79.3 (talk) 16:37, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
- Adding information like Panday jee and Tiger are so inappropriate. And who is Navjot kaur sidhu? All incorrect information. I'm sorry we cant keep that on wiki. Listen i know what i'm doing. The Whole Bigg Boss 5 article came out of me. You have continuously been adding such useless content on the page that it is starting to look like a fanpage. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia not a blog. --I'mTitanniumchat 14:44, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
- Oh yeah. And the way you talk is so damn inappropriate. And hijacking one article (Bigg Boss 5) doesn't mean that you did that great. Such are the people who are killing Wikipedia. Tell me if it's not worth covering Daler Mehndi appearing in Bigg Boss 6? And you made such miserable comment like "who is Navjot kaur sidhu?" Did you actually see the opening event? Her full name is Navjot Singh Kaur Sidhu, and she is wife of Navjot Singh Sidhu. Is it hard to believe they can have same first name? Is it so difficult to understand that husband's surname is carried by woman in India?
Can some one save this article from Imtitanium, the self proclaimed owner of this wiki page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.170.31.140 (talk) 14:35, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Are the editors hoping to follow a schedule here?
Newbie here. I was wondering if the editors were planning on following a regular schedule. E.g., updates within 48 hours of the airing of an episode. Regardless of that, thanks to everyone for their contributions. Lahanasingh (talk) 13:03, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
- I know right? I update the article almost entirely (visit the revision history). On the launch day, I added the names of the participants as they appeared on the Tv screen. I have my laptop beside me and I update the article live. However, there are some users who keep reverting my edits eg. the weekly synopsis and the description ones. It's so frustrating. These people provide no contributions to the article instead they keep deleting stuff. Like there's more to life than just hatred. Can I get an Amen up in here?
- Please, if you can, help expand the article by providing biographies and daily updates on weekly summaries. Thank You. --I'mTitanniumchat 13:37, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
- I would love to help except that I don't watch the show regularly. I do use the wiki page as a reference for the show. I don't suppose it is acceptable if I contribute intermittently, is it? Lahanasingh (talk) 13:57, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
- sure. :) --I'mTitanniumchat 14:12, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
- I happened to watch today's show and give it a go. Here is what I wrote. It turned out to be more detailed than the usual summary. Later I saw you had already written a summary. So it was a bit of a waste. But I had fun. Feel free to add anything from below into your summary. Thanks. Lahanasingh (talk) 20:00, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
Day 4:
Rajeev teases Aashka for inciting Vrajesh earlier against the combined decision to buy coffee. Later Aashka is upset and tells Delnaaz and Sidhu that her involvement is being exaggerated. Soon after, however, Vrajesh and Rajeev resolve the matter with her.
Aashka [Or is it someone else?] suggests to Delnaaz that she should get to know other boys. "Time to move from singular to plural." They are watching Rajeev talking to other housemates in the distance. Delnaaz responds that she doesn't trust Rajeev.
Niketan reads aloud a message from Bigg Boss regarding Sidhu's two punishments for contributing the least to the previous day's task. (a) Sidhu can take the help of just one person in cooking lunch. But that person can only give suggestions. (b) Sidhu has to perform an entertaining bhangra in the evening. The ladies have to perform with him. Rajeev suggests that having khichadri for lunch would make it easier on Sidhu, and receives instant support.
Vrajesh mentions to Urvashi that fish talk to him, and he can understand them. "Every fish speaks in Bengali," he jokes. They also mimic the way Sayantani talks.
Delnaaz tells Rajeev to stop bringing up their divorce in front of everyone. He is hurt. Later he prays for guidance.
Sidhu chooses Aashka to help him with lunch. He wants someone to sing songs to motivate him to cook, and Delnaaz and others comply. Lunch is appreciated by all.
Sidhu asks Vrajesh about the possibility of Delnaaz and Rajeev's reconciliation. Vrajesh replies that, though he is a longtime friend of the couple, he doesn't know why Delnaaz is not interested, even though Rajeev has made genuine attempts at getting back. They ask Aashka for her opinion and help at engineering a reconciliation. She, however, believes that Delnaaz in not ready.
Later Aashka tells Delnaaz about her conversation with Sidhu and Vrajesh. Delnaaz feels that Rajeev is just pretending to want to get back with her. She recalls that he had earlier told the press that he was over the relationship.
Sampat recounts how she was once asked for a bribe of Rs 25,000 for issuing a passport and she had solved the matter by calling the police instead. Vrajesh confesses that he recently paid a bribe of Rs 10,000 for some paperwork for his new house. Sampat teases him that he can never become a "Sampat," which upsets him.
Sidhu and the ladies rehearse their bhangra. Later Niketan complains that Kashif had borrowed his Versace jacket and then soiled it with sweat by dancing while wearing it. Niketan is annoyed that Kashif made light of the matter by saying his sweat was hygenic. Kashif comes by to apologize and promises to gift him five jackets when Niketan visits Hyderabad next. He claims that his family were the new Indian distributors of Versace products. Niketan is not convinced.
Sidhu and the ladies dance the Bhangra. Everyone joins in and has a good time.
Sidhu advises Kashif to stop wasting his immense talent in responding to hurt caused by others.
Aashka and Urvashi are uncomfortable with Rajeev's extended involvement in the kitchen. After a discussion in which Rajeev offers to quit the kitchen, and Niketan gives his own suggestions in vain, they convince Rajeev that forming teams which alternately take charge of the kitchen is better.
Later Aseem describes the awful food and conditions he had faced behind bars, hearing which Delnaaz is moved to tears. A couple of housemates agrees that Aseem is a nice man and sympathize with his experience.
Niketan recalls the earlier bickering with Kashif over the spoilt Versace jacket. Sidhu tries to excuse Kashif as a simpleton, but Niketan and Urvashi point out that they disagree.
Summary by Lahanasingh (talk) 20:00, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
- This is some good stuff, my friend. The only problem i have with it is its length which in my opinion is too big. I'll try adding some lines from your version into the summary I published. Thank you. Eviction is up today. Try writing a small account for Day 5.--I'mTitanniumchat 06:14, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Copyright violations from Bigg Boss
This article appears to contain some of the same text which appears in Bigg Boss, so many of the copyright violations reported here may also be present in that article. Evictions posted before airtime
I understand that the official airtime of the show is Friday, 9:00 p.m. IST. But the evictions are being posted earlier. It is about 6:00 p.m. IST on Friday, October 19, and the eviction for this week has been posted.
Question 1: How are we getting to know the eviction result before the show airtime? Are they declared earlier at some place?
Question 2: Unless the eviction result is declared publicly before the official airtime, isn't our posting of the result a disservice to the show and its viewers?

In various edit summaries for the article [2] [3] [4], comments to this talk page [5], and comments on the deletion discussions [6] [7] [8], at least four editors have expressed the opinion that the level of detail in this article is excessive. At least one editor has disagreed, but voiced this disagreement only on my user talk page [9]. Because these comments were made in so many different venues, it's difficult to discuss the matter with all involved editors. It would be helpful if we could consolidate the discussion here. I have therefore informed the five above-noted editors, plus every other editor who made a more general comment on the quality of the (non-copyvio) article content during the deletion discussions, about this thread. —Psychonaut (talk) 12:00, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

First Nomination was as a Jodi
I had corrected/edited the content to convey that the first nomination was as a pair. Who removed this info and why? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.253.185.179 (talk) 18:20, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
- It is unnecessary. the pair inforrmation is already represented in the note and by the colors. -- I'm Titanium chat 06:58, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
The names which appear in the column don't in any way convey that they were grouped as pairs. They are written irrespective of alphabetic orders or the reverse order making it confusing. The major impact of having nominated a person leaves an impression of antagonism, what this column wrongfully interprets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.253.175.62 (talk) 18:28, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- Nominations are not supposed to be written in alphabetical orders. When a housemate nominates two names the appear as
- 1st Nomination,
- 2nd Nomination.
- Only when the nominees are resulted, they are specified in alphabetical order. If you watch the show closely you will see that the pairs were nominated as "We want to nominate Sampat and Sana". Therefore Sampat's name has been introduced first and then Sana's in the table. Furthermore Note 1 says it all (Housemates were grouped into sevens pairs. Niketan, for not being chosen by any housemate to form a pair, was made the House captain. Each pair nominated another pair with consensus when called into the confession room. Vote against a pair added one vote against each individual in the respective pair.) so no need to over analyse it. Cheers. -- I'm Titanium chat 07:16, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

- The colors are used to denote the pairs used for nomination in week 1. They are not necessarily associated to a certain pair.
- Automatic nomination (due to violation(s) committed, failure of task or direct nomination by House Captain)
- Granted immunity
- Moved to the Secret Village
- Black numbers indicate votes to evict
- Red numbers indicate votes to save
- Blue numbers indicate nominations from housemates who voted for the deserving candidates for the finals
- ^1 Housemates were grouped into sevens pairs. Niketan, for not being chosen by any housemate to form a pair, was made the House captain. Each pair nominated another pair with consensus when called into the confession room. Vote against a pair added one vote against each individual in the respective pair.
- ^2 Sidhu refused to vote when called into the confession room, therefore, as punishment Bigg Boss nominated all housemates. This created conflicts among housemates and resulted in protests against Bigg Boss. Sidhu was asked to reconsider nominating two housemates. Nominations concluded when Sidhu contemplated on giving the two names.
- ^3 In a twist to nominations housemates were told to nominate two houses they would like to save from eviction. Vrajesh being the house captain was immune and was not asked to nominate. With receiving no save votes Rajev, Sana, Sayantani and Urvashi were, therefore, nominated.
- ^4 Aseem, Karishma, Sapna and Sidhu were nominated as punishment. Sampat having received the highest number of nominations was also added to the nominations list.
- ^5 Before nominations Sana was given a secret task to garner the highest nominations by convincing her fellow housemates to vote for her. Succeeding in the task will save her from eviction however if she did not receive the highest number of votes, she will be automatically nominated by Bigg Boss. Aashka as captain nominated Sampat directly placing her up for eviction. Sana having received 7 out of 8 potential votes was spared eviction and Sapna and Vrajesh were, in turn, added to the nominations list.
