Why so many Springfields in Pennsylvania?

Coughling died in Springfield, Pennsylvania. Who would have thought there were NINE Springfields in one state?!? Is there anyone who can confirm which Springfield was the one where Coughlin died? Date of death

There are two different dates within the text and in the right frame... Which one is correct: September 4th, 1991 or February 12th, 2000?
