Too many images
[edit]I've tidied up the article a little; the most noticeable issue is now the line of images marching down both sides of the article - there are at least twice as many images as there should be. Could just 'boldly go' but some consensus on the visual approach would be helpful. What do people feel about it? Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:01, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
- Some judicious pruning of redundant or largely irrelevant images would be in order. For example, the article probably does not need so many of migratory species, especially if they are not associated with a particular peril. Maias (talk) 22:46, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
- OK, I've slimmed it down, edited some captions and started to use standard image widths - no reason not to use the |upright| parameter for portrait-style images. Chiswick Chap (talk) 10:25, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

missing ?
[edit]This article may be missing some simple perils such as
- poor food-supply at staging/stopover sites due to annual/medium-term variations
- inaccessible food e.g. for swans gees or ducks when wetlands are frozen
- etc., etc.
Also, I feel that deforestation related to nest-predation is somewhat off the subject of bird migration perils => needs re-write or re-word.
The above are hardly controversial - I would make some changes taking but I do not have appropriate references to hand. Can you help ?! jw (talk) 13:21, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
