I have reverted the good faith page move (wrongly marked as a minor edit) to Blue Dream Melody as there was no content attributed to a reliable source to justify such a change; and in any case, a mere change of ship name does not meet the guidance at WP:SHIPNAME, that the article should be at the ship's "best-known name", clearly that is AIDAvita at present as it was cruising under this name for 21 years and has not even left the port of Tallinn under any subsequent name. The change of name was sourced to Vessel Finder, which cannot be a reliable source as it is automatically generated by an AIS transmission, and is consequently devoid of any editorial control. The change of name may have happened, and acceptable sources may be found to confirm that, and in due course the ship may begin to trade again. It would better if any proposed page move is discussed here first. - Davidships (talk) 21:37, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Kefalonitis94. While it is now true that the actual change of name of the ship is better referenced, I do not think that that justified moving the article again, for the remaining reasons already noted above. I have linked to some useful WP policy/advice on your Talk page at User talk:Kefalonitis94#AIDAvita. Your comments here would be welcome - Davidships (talk) 18:33, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I put the reference link now so you stop reverting my edits.
The ship changed owners and her new name is official everywhere.
So no need to keep old outdated information on the ship's page.
