I'd think the proper noun version (capitalized) should point to an article about the company Blue Ant, which makes audio equipment. --Nil0lab 02:28, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, actually, having read the "trivia" at the bottom (though I have to say that term is *not* NPOV, at least to the people in the companies mentioned), I see that there's more than one proper noun Blue Ant, so clearly the capitalized entry should be a disambig. --Nil0lab 21:20, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Want one

[edit]

I want one as a pet, these things are so colorful.. I'd love to try and sketch one with colored pencils --(who?)

Clarification

[edit]

Adults feed on nectar, and pollinate various native Australian flowers.

is that supposed to be "Adult males"? seeing how the article says that the females are ground dwelling and hunt insects. just wondering YggdrasilsRoot 14:43, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

No - females hunt insects to feed their larvae. Male and female adults both feed on nectar. -- ALoan (Talk) 15:12, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Classification

[edit]

According to the articles on Tiphiidae and Thynnidae, this subfamily now belongs to the family Thynnidae. I'm not entirely sure how to sort it all out, but it's confusing and contradictory as it now stands. Chuck Entz (talk) 19:22, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
