Conflict
[edit]"Prior to becoming mayor, Harvey was President of the New Zealand Labour Party from 1999 to 2000" Uh...I'm not sure if the beginning of the sentence or the dates are wrong, but one is. Mattlore 07:58, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Oops. My fault - a copyediting error. The dates are right, but the "prior to" belonged to a different part of the same sentence. Grutness...wha? 12:14, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Also the bit about Bob's successive reelections being a first for NZ is questionable. Barry Curtis was mayor of Manukau from 1983 to 2007, which would make his record about seven or eight successive elections. Chas Poynter down in Wangavegas had a hell of an incubency as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.234.20.82 (talk) 22:56, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
