Redirect

[edit]

I have redirected on the basis of failing WP:GNG. Player was previously deemed notable under the WP:NAFL for having played one Victorian Football League game, but this SNG no longer exists after WP:NSPORTS2022. I have redirected to the player list article for the club where he played the most matches, rather than deleted, based on previous AfDs for similar situations, e.g. Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Graham_Kemp.

All references in the article are databases or the database-like compendium Holmesby & Main, which do not constitute WP:SIGCOV. Google search for Bob Walliker Richmond shows up databases, wiki mirrors, and one fan wiki [1]. 1940s Victorian newspaper search for Walliker Football shows nothing but one-word WP:ROUTINE mentions [2]; and a simple search for "R. Walliker" is a short list of non-descriptive mentions in routine suburban sports results [3]. In conclusion, multiple secondary independent sources providing WP:SIGCOV of this person's career as a sportsman do not exist and shall never exist. I have made this change unilaterally as I believe it uncontroversial, but the above will be the basis for an AfD nomination if required. Aspirex (talk) 05:52, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
