Notability
[edit]Is XFL really a "top-level professional league", as is stated in the notability guidelines for this player to be notable? --JayC (talk) 19:35, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know. It sounded professional to me when I glanced at the article. It's enough for me to decline the speedy, but I have no objection to your taking it to AfD. LadyofShalott 22:44, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
- That's not the way I'd choose to go, at all! Someone else has been tagging these little stubs, but I'm pretty sure that the actual player in each case would be most likely to have gone to play in a less-ambiguously-placed league, and so fulfil notability (footie). I'll see if I can do a little bit to help this editor out with working on stubs. Pesky (talk) 02:58, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
