Need numbers

[edit]

Yep, sure could use some numbers... I did not include info from this site which says that 10% of Argentines are British-descended - that's more than 4 million people, just in Argentina! I thought that was too high and probably included both British and Irish, so I went with the far more conservative 100k. SamEV 02:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Borges?

[edit]

Claiming that Borges is a British Latin American is just too simplistic, I reckon. --Asteriontalk 22:51, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's simplistic only if the claim is made that it is all he was, which we don't. He was partly of British ancestry, English more specifically ([1]). He was also culturally English to some degree, even having learned English before Spanish. SamEV 20:13, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why?

[edit]

Why is there an article for this? This term is far too broad. The only page(s) that should be of concern, is the individual countries associated with British ancestry. Savvyjack23 (talk) 13:25, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
