Rewriting first paragraph (ongoing discussion)

In my opinion, the first paragraph of the lede section is not very well written. I personally could not understand much of it. The first sentence doesn't explain anything. It just says "The Buddhist caves in India." Any thoughts? Professor Penguino (talk) 21:57, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
