Why is this plant a fish

[edit]

I don't understand, I did what I did with other Calamus (Arecaceae) plant species (Calamus godefroyi, latifolius, salicifolius, tetradyctylus and viminalis), started at Calamus (palm), put in species name, a red link appeared, created this page and assembled stuff. But in the species box, we have the genera and above for fish. Calamus (palm) page links to here, but the calamus genus here links to fish. Help please. When there are genera in different kingdoms that share the same name, the template that stores the taxonomic hierarchy may have a parenthetical disambiguator. The template in this case is Template:Taxonomy/Calamus (palm). The value in |genus= needs to be the name of the template, disambiguator and all. Plantdrew (talk) 15:09, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
