Cancelled or Canceled

[edit]

Is the correct US spelling Cancelled or Canceled? Bevo74 (talk) 21:07, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Man, 6 years ago and no one answered you? I doubt you care, but the correct spelling is canceled. EDG 543 (talk) 16:11, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Only one team shares a stadium?

[edit]

I was pretty sure the 2013 started with the Baltimore Ravens playing Away in Denver, despite being defending Super Bowl champions, due to a conflict with the Orioles having a home game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. 24.74.94.112 (talk) 01:29, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Orioles play at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. There was conflict because both M&T Bank Stadium and Oriole Park share the same parking lot and other ancillary facilities, and the complex (known as the Camden Yards Sports Complex) does not have the capacity to hold both games simultaneously. Inclusion of 2013 kickoff game

[edit]

My objection of including the 2013 kickoff game here is that most of the article is about last-minute scheduling conflicts, postponents or cancellations well after the original NFL schedule was released, and when the season has already begun. The conflict between the NFL and Ravens, and MLB and the Orioles, was resolved just before the original 2013 NFL schedule was released -- like any other possible conflict that the NFL has to juggle when trying to form the original schedule, as reported here and here. Canceled NFL gamesCanceled and rescheduled NFL games – This article covers both cancellations and postponements. The title should reflect that. O.N.R. (talk) 15:27, 22 March 2021 (UTC) Relisting. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 00:49, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Has a game ever been postponed mid-game before last night?

[edit]

Because if not, I will add the trivia saying that the 1/2/23 MNF game was the first time a game was canceled mid-game LuxembourgBoy42 (talk) 16:18, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

During Super Bowl 47

[edit]

There was a power outage and forced a 34 minute game delay. 2601:154:C100:6CE0:A12E:58A1:677A:975A (talk) 21:48, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delays are frequent enough that they aren't worth listing. O.N.R. (talk) 08:26, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
