Jewish director[edit]

Just wondering, what is the whole "the film needed a jewsih director(which it did)"? I mean that is hardly an encyclopedic entry that is personal opinion, i am deleting that. // Fjafjan

Scorsese himself thought that Schindler's List needed a Jewish director. It is the personal opinion of Scorsese and not of the Wikipedia editor. (JosephASpadaro 17:13, 16 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

I don't think it was anything more than an effort to show that Cady was now a learned individual. His inclination for philosophy was noted in this scene, as well as when he quotes Silesius in the alley, and when we see his texts in prison.

Leigh Bowden's fascination with Max[edit]

I think more about Leigh Bowden's fascination with Max needs to be addressed. From my take, she lived a sad life, probably after the affairs. It seems that Max turn her on because he kept beating Sam at every turn. Maybe her attraction to Sam was that he seems like an invincible lawyer. Now this gruff maniac has rattled Sam's cage and made her feel vulnerable. Maybe the though that Cadey could have her at any time got to her.
