I attempted to create another article titled Football related activity of the CCS in order to split this article in line with WP:SIZESPLIT which is the reason behind the huge chunk of data being removed. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I created this split article correctly but I've sent a message to the help desk so I await the reply.
