I corrected some of the execrable nonidiomatic language, but the article is still gibberish in some parts, I suspect, such as in 'Other major works' section. This article's apparent state of translation is far below acceptable quality, but I am not an expert in the field and cannot fix the language in a way that would preserve the theoretical structure of Rovelli's arguments. help! Reality Is Not What It Seems: The Journey to Quantum Gravity
[edit]i happen to own a copy of this book and im most happy to report it as a good read. first half going through history of physics from ancient greek atomism to the generation of physicists following einstein, culminating in a brief description of the accepted and prooved standard model (of the universe). second part describes what is honestly described by the author as 'his side of the matter' the quantum loop theory - a promising field of research in progress - version of what the working principles and the structure of the universe might be beyond what is explained by the standard model, arguing for answers to questions (actually some of theese became possible to formulate as questions thanks to the standard model) not answered by the standard model.89.134.199.32 (talk) 20:57, 22 July 2018 (UTC).
Double information
[edit]Reading the article I came across these two sentences. I think one of these can be deleted, but I leave it to the native speakers. Here they are: "Rovelli refused military service, which was compulsory in Italy at the time, and was therefore briefly detained in 1977." and "He later refused to compulsory military draft and was briefly detained."
