Only leading scientists can become Fellows of the Royal Society and all have long since met the requirements of our Notability (academics) guideline by the time they become fellows.

First professor in oxford ? Hodgkin?[edit]

Is Dorothy Hodgkin not an example of a prof of chemistry in oxford? I have no idea if she was the first. Robinson perhaps has a specific chair. This should be clarified... — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 20:51, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
