date of death

[edit]

How can she have been gassed on 1 May when the camp was taken over by the Soviets on 30 April ( according to the Ravensbruck article )--jrleighton 10:36, 20 August 2005 (UTC)

No sources either.

–This short biography has her execution in February 1945, not May. I don't know how reliable it is. http://www.64-baker-street.org/agents/agent_waaf_cecily_lefort.html Cravenmonket 23:07, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-- Heroines of SOE does not contain a date of death for Cecily (and it does include them for as many women of F-section as possible). Moira Paul (talk) 14:41, 13 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Brittany not in Britain

[edit]

"she fled occupied France and went to England where she and her husband made their home in Brittany" makes no sense. Brittany *was* part of occupied France.75.35.74.21 (talk) 00:04, 2 May 2009 (UTC)Nancy Raffman[reply]

They had a home in Brittany but escaped to England, and then allowed SOE to use their (now vacant) home in Brittany for purposes useful to the Allied cause. SOE and the French Resistance used their home as a base in occupied Brittany. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.7.147.13 (talk) 13:48, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
