What I think should be changed Set up a new section focusing on CCG's possible government links, fold all current descriptions into the section, and add content that says otherwise (it could also be an NGO) citing reputable sources

Why it should be changed 1) The current version cites sources saying CCG is a govt activity. But there are also many reputable sources saying it is an NGO. CCG itself maintains it is an NGO. Beijing govt also says it is an NGO. The current version is, therefore, not neutral. 2) CCG is apparently a Chinese think tank based with significant international influence. Whether it is a govt activity or an NGO is not trivial.

GEbun (talk) 22:32, 28 April 2021 (UTC) The Center for China and Globalization (CCG) is a Chinese non-governmental[10] think tank based in Beijing. CCG has been granted the official special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) [11] as a non-governmental organization.[reply]

CCG’s scholars have been often writing for the New York Times, Financial Times, Bloomberg News[12], South China Morning Post, Beijing Review[13], CGTN, China Daily[14] and its experts have appeared frequently in newswires such as BBC, DW News, CNN and CNBC. CCG is also a national Postdoctoral Programme Research Center certified by the Chinese Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. In the “2020 Global Go To Think Tank Index” by the University of Pennsylvania Think Tank and Civil Society Program (TTCSP), CCG ranked 64th of the top think tanks worldwide, and the 60th in outstanding policy-oriented research programs[15]. CCG’s research concentration revolves around globalization, global governance, international economy and trade, international relations, global migration and talent studies. CCC has been recognized as a “4A non-governmental organization” by Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau[16].

Not done: requestor was blocked indef as a sockpuppet. Also, "non-governmental think tank" seems like a suspiciously specific denial – not to mention that the claim that CCG is "non-governmental" is in no way supported by the Foreign Policy article cited.
